California Street

Since retiring from a career as a High School Chemistry Teacher for 36 years, Wilton has studied and experimented both digital and analog techniques, including traditional darkroom skills and Platinum Palladium Printing.  His path in photography has been guided by attending workshops led by Charles Cramer, Bill Atkinson, Allan Ross, John Sexton, Ann Larson, Kerik Kouklis and Susan Burnstine.  

Wilton is a mentor with First Exposures in San Francisco, an exhibitor with the 81 Bees Photographic Collective and a member of the Center for Photographic Art.

Wilton’s prints were selected to be a part of the CPA International Juried Exhibit, the Alternative Process Exhibit at The Image Flow in 2019 and 2021.  He earned the Merit Award for work included in the International Juried Exhibit in 2020 at the Center for Photographic Art.  In 2019 and 2020 he was included in the 81 Bees Photography Collective Exhibit and his photograph appeared in Hawaii Magazine after earning 2nd place in the Abstract division.
